GRANBURY — Clara Hall Thompson, 91, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016, in Granbury, Texas.
Graveside service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle, Texas.
Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
Clara was born on March 22, 1925 in Washita, Arkansas to Oscar and Mary Wood Tucker. She lived in Granbury and was a member of Thorp Spring Baptist Church. Clara was an electrical engineer for General Dynamics for 32 years. She loved her job. She later worked at the recycle shop until the age of 85. She was an Eastern Star for over 60 years. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Jack Hall and Tommy Thompson and her son, Jack D. Hall.
Survivors: Daughter, Kathy Rickett; grandchildren, Sharon Turnbow, Blinda Smith and Rickey Curlee; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and sister Dolly Hall.
