Clara was just a legacy to her family! What a lovely, full of life, person she was! Every time I met her, she always remembered me and even our old conversations, and her eyes sparkled with love and life! She set the bar for grandmothers everywhere, and I know that she is loving Heaven being reunited with family and friends and seeing Jesus face to face!❤️

I have so many wonderful memories of Clara and your dad Carl. The biggest memory is that every summer they had a Rose Contest with my parents, Vindle & Thelma Matthews to see who had the first rose to bloom. The winners would receive a cookout which was almost always at our house. I still treasure this wonderful memory. Clara was my first, dearest and longest adult friend. I will never forget her.
