DECORDOVA — Cleve Beavers, 64, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at his DeCordova residence.
Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Cleve was born Oct. 27, 1948, in Wichita Falls, to Grover Cleveland Beavers, Jr. and Johnnie Faye Butler Beavers. He married Irma Fern Strain in 2007 in Weatherford and she preceded him in death on Mar. 5, 2009. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Temple, Texas. Cleve had lived in Granbury since 1982 and was the former owner of Acton Auto Sales. He had also worked for the city of Granbury. He was also preceded in death by his father.
Survivors: Daughters, Stephanie Fischer and husband, Bob, of Austin, Leah Holder of Memphis, Tenn., Leslie Leal and husband, Frank, of Southhaven, Miss.; mother, Johnnie Beavers of Cleburne; brother, Ray Beavers and wife, Pat, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Dillion Holder, Emma Fischer, Jack Fischer, Ayden Leal, Aaron Leal; nephews, Brandon Beavers and wife, Katie, of McKinney, Brady Beavers and wife, Rebekah, of Frisco, Blake Beavers and wife, Monica, of Austin; and special friend, Karen Henley of Southhaven, Miss.
