Cliffie Angeline Rogers, 95, passed away Sunday January 3, 2021.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday January 8, 2021 in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.

 

Cliffie was born September 26, 1925 in Venus, Texas to Hugh A. and Fannie Flatt Prather. She learned to dance at an early age and continued her love of dancing her entire life. She loved her entire family and her many friends and her home was always open to those who needed a place to stay and a warm meal.

 

Cliffie was an independent and strong willed person who would always do things her way which seems to have served her well in her long life.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Rogers, Jr., a son, Joe Rogers, a grandson, Shane Penninger, her parents, and five siblings.

 

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Penninger and husband, Pat of Benbrook; daughter-in-law, Helen Rogers of Azle; grandson, Jason Penninger and wife Bree;  2 great-grandchildren, Olivia and Logan Penninger.
