Clifford “Joe” Cox, age 80, passed away February 12, 2022.
Celebration of Life: 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Western Star Cowboy Church,
790 County Road 3696, Springtown, Texas.
Joe was born March 10, 1941 in Johnsville, Texas to Charles Emmett and Charty Rhudene (Parnell) Cox. He had three brothers, Wendell, Dwight and Odis Cox. They moved to Fort Worth when Joe was 15 years old.
Joe married the love of his life, Linda Ritchie and together they had five children. He was the BEST Harley Davidson mechanic in Texas for 40 years. His love for motorcycles and racing was well known throughout the racing community. Joe also was a backhoe operator for 20 years. He had a pick passion and love for horses and was a natural horseman. He also loved Native American Culture and was a teacher, as well as a gifted artist and poet.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Charty Cox, and his brothers, Wendell and Dwight Cox.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Ritchie) Cox; his children, Teresa Cox Teague, Lynn and David Crawford, Adam Trimble and his wife, Brittany Meagher and Shane Cox; Six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his brother Odis Cox
