GRANBURY — Clyde McCauley, 98, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Thursday – August 22, 2013, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Bishop Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation: Thursday morning until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. McCauley was born July 20, 1915, in Seymour, Texas, to John Malcolm McCauley and Maggie Gwinn McCauley. He married Mary Evelyn Lee, Aug. 7, 1937, in Tucumcari, N.M. Clyde enjoyed bowling, bingo and he was a fabulous dancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter, Clydean Black, and sister, Ocella.
Survivors: Companion and friend, Sheri Gregory; children, Myrna Baker, John H. “Pheonix” McCauley and wife, Sylvia, Phillip D. McCauley and wife, Carolyn; son-in-law, Charles Black; grandchildren, Patricia Merritt, Terry Dibetta, Lori Gepner, Cassandra Pence, David Baker, Danny Baker, Deanna Dinkel, Jay McCauley, Meigan Brown, John A. McCauley, Amber Collins, Coby McCauley, Johnny McCauley, Phillip McCauley, Teresa Labington; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
