Bea Reynolds of Lipan, Texas passed away April 27, 2019 in Weatherford, Texas. She was 95.
Bea was born on Armistice day in 1923 to Clyde and Willie Ford in Lipan, Texas. A lifelong resident, she married the “Boy Across the Creek”, Olen Ray Reynolds, on November 8, 1947 following his safe return from deployment to Europe at the closing of WW2. Bea and Olen spent the entirety of their 71 years of marriage as Lipan Residents where they together built a successful farming and dairy operation until their retirement in later years.
Bea was an active member of Allison Baptist Church in excess of 80 years. As an ambassador for Christ, the nurturer of her family, and a servant of the community, she and Olen laid the foundation to which the family legacy would build upon. Her family was proud to call her Mama, Grandma, and Granny and take comfort in knowing she has heard the eternal words, “Well done, good and faithful servant”. She leaves behind no unfinished business on either side of the veil of Christ flesh but leaves behind the kindness, love, and legacy to an immeasurable, far reaching span of benefactors. She will be Mourned; She will be Missed; She will be happily celebrated for the victorious life she lived.
Bea is survived by her husband: Olen Reynolds; Daughter and Son-in-Law John and Martha Bosley of Denton; Son and Daughter-in-Law Nick and Patsy Reynolds of Lipan; Granddaughter and husband Lon Dale and Brandi Cannon of Frisco; Granddaughter and Husband George and Traci Szostek of Aubrey; Grandson and Wife Jarrod and Sheree’ Reynolds of Lipan; and Granddaughter and Husband Daniel and Joree Burnett of Lipan. Her pride and Joy were her Great Grandchildren Lexi, Meagan, Randall, Andrew, Bryce, Avery, Zain, Luke, Zeke, Sela, and Ziva.
Services are held at Allison Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 30th at 10:00 am with Brother Darryl Chandler and Brother Wayne Ford presiding. Visitation will be at Wiley Funeral Home in Lipan on Monday, April 29th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Wiley Funeral Home is responsible for services.
Any donations can be made to Allison Baptist Church or Lipan Community Center.
