Curtis Bise

Curtis Ritter Bise, at 90 years of age, passed away peacefully in his Glen Rose home of 42 years on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, March 1, 2019, Rainbow Baptist Church, Interment: Squaw Creek Cemetery, Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 28, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose.

Curtis was born on July 8, 1928 in Clintwood, Virginia to Charles Columbus and Ida Jane Adkins Bise. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He retired from Brown and Root as a heavy equipment operator. He loved the Lord and was a member of Rainbow Baptist Church.

Curtis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mabel Bise, his granddaughter Claire Bise, and his 7 siblings.

Curtis is survived by his sons: Jeffrey Bise and wife Kristi of Glen Rose; Cliff Bise and wife Lisa of Glen Rose; grandchildren: Casey Oliver Bise and wife Megan; Benjamin Roark, Mathew Roark, Kelsey Roark, and Jessie Perciful; three great-grandchildren: Zander, Zoe, and Zury; numerous nieces and nephews.
