Dale Richard Benedict passed away on Friday April 26, 2019. He was born December 1, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska to Francis and Berniece Benedict. Inurnment: 2:00 PM, Monday, May 20, 2019, Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Dale was a very funny and out going person, he could make just about anyone smile. He could walk up to a complete stranger and strike up a conversation, leaving that person with a smile and lots of laughter. Dale enjoyed fishing, camping, anything outdoors. He was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his father: Francis Benedict; mother: Berniece Benedict; sister: Glenna Statler; and grandson: Marc Clingerman.
Dale is survived by his son: Jason Benedict; daughters: Melissa Benedict, Molly Clingerman and Rachel Abbott and a host of nieces and nephews, and grandchildren.
