On Saturday, November 2, 2019, Daniel Mize, loving father, passed away at home at the age of 74.
Funeral Service to be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2019 at Biggers Funeral Chapel
Visitation: 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 7. There will be a graveside service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 9 at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas.
Daniel was born on December 16, 1944 in Eastland, Texas to Samuel and Lloyd Mize. He served our country in both the Army and Navy Reserves. Dan worked for Xerox for over 25 years before retiring in 2008. On May 31, 1971, he married Judy Tucker and together they raised two daughters, Kimberly and Amberly.
Dan grew up in a large family on a farm and had an inherent love of nature, showing livestock in his youth. He was also an avid music lover whether it was rock and roll or country, if you came over to his house, you would always hear his tunes playing.
Dan was preceded in death by both parents, Samuel and Lloyd; brothers, Bob and Samuel and sisters, Zerena, Frankie and Mary.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Darr and husband, Jim and Amberly Null and husband, Dale; grandchildren Sara and Kyle Darr and Kayleigh Null; sisters, Sue Endebrock and Bitsy Rice
