Danny Leon Kutej, 59, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on October 10, 2021.

Danny was born in Fort Worth, he was the youngest of three children, to Marvin and Sandra Kutej. He graduated high school in 1980 from Castleberry Baptist Christian School. Professionally, Danny spent many years working for Willamette Industries before following in his father’s footsteps joining Bell Helicopter.

Danny and Jennifer (Urban) were happily married for 38 years, had two children whom he loved very much. He took extreme pride in his grandchildren while enjoying his children, family and friends. His several hobbies were Pitmaster for family and friends, hunting, working in his shop and supporting his home town team, the TCU Horned Frogs. Danny was a beloved husband, father, brother, son, grandfather and will be greatly missed by many.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Marvin “Buster” Kutej and his grandmother, Mary McKnight.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Christina Kutej; son, Corey Kutej and his wife, Shanda; grandchildren, Sydney DeHoyos, Kimber Kutej, Croix Kutej; mother, Sandra Kutej; two sisters, Sherry Bonds and her husband, Jerry and Judy Gasparini and her husband, Michael; grandfather, Bob McKnight and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 5953 Bowman Roberts Road, Fort Worth, TX 76179

My heart felt condolences to the family and all those who knew Danny. I will remember Danny for his sense of humor, love for his family, and calm and welcoming demeanor. Particularly when we spent several hours at the hospital patiently waiting during the birth of two of his grandchildren, Kimber and Croix. His subsequent pride and joy was undeniable.

Goodbye for now baby brother. You were a both a great man and sibling. Your departure will leave a void in my life. Until we meet again. I love you forever. ❤️ Sherry

Danny was such a good man with a big heart, the Cuba Family enjoyed his and Uncle Bobs visits so much. You could tell how much he loved his family as he spoke about them. Danny will be missed and may he Rest in Peace.
