David Andrew Baxter, age 34, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Parker County, Texas.

Interment: Jaybird Cemetery, Parker County, Texas
Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Biggers Funeral Home.
David received Jesus Christ as his savior at the age of 12 when he was baptized at Calvary Community Church in Azle, Texas. As a youth he was an active member and frequently helped Pastor Connelly deliver meals to the homeless in Ft. Worth.
After learning to ride a motorcycle at only five years old, David was hooked on riding and it became his lifelong passion. He was a Texas Rangers fan, enjoyed fishing with his sons, hanging out with friends and listening to country music, most especially Texas red dirt country music.
David had a servant’s heart and at only 16 years old begged his parents’ permission to join the local Volunteer Fire Department. He was committed to helping his community for 16 years; he served as a Volunteer Firefighter with Parker County Volunteer Fire Departments LaJunta, Reno & Briar. A Springtown High School Graduate, David went on to obtain his Texas Peace Officer’s License from Weatherford College Police Academy in 2016. David then served as a Police Officer at the Samson Park Police Department until 2021 when he joined the Jack County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff until his passing.
David met the love of his life, Jordyn Nichole, in 2010. Jordyn and David were married March 12, 2016 and began a family in 2017. He was a devoted father to his three sons; Bowen 5, Bryson 3 and 21 month old Bexar.
David is preceded in death by, his Grandparents, Edgar & Gladys Baxter, Angeline & Foster Reed and Lorraine Reed.
David is survived by, his Parents, Donna Reed and Harold & Alana Baxter; Wife, Jordyn Nichole Baxter; Sons, Bowen, Bryson & Bexar; Brother, Kyle Kilby & Wife Kathy; Nieces, Keilan and Sadie Kilby; Nephew, Frankie Kilby; Grandfather, Spencer A. Reed; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and countless loyal friends.
