David White left a message on January 15, 2019:
First of all I want to give my condolences to the Seymour family for your loss. I worked with David at Halliburton out of Odessa, TX. Everyone knew him by Seymour at our yard. Seymour was a strong and intelligent person and it was shown in his work. He was very blunt but also a very loyal friend. Seymour believed in me at work when nobody else did. He was outgoing and full of life and had an infectious way of being the center of attention in any place we went after work with the guys to enjoy ourselves. Seymour i will never forget you and you were a damn good friend and supervisor. I love you man! Little boots will always remember you.

Mr. & Mrs. Seymour, Dave was a general contractor for my house. I am so saddened for your loss of a son, his daughters’ loss of their dad, and the loss to many friends and relatives. I only knew him for a short while and I will miss him dearly. Despite the void we all have in our hearts, Dave is at peace now. With my deepest sympathies, Jeff Smick
