Dennis Ray Sawyer, 73 of Fort Worth, passed away October 25, 2020 in his home. Graveside service: 1:00 Friday, October 30, 2020, Whitney Memorial Park, Whitney, Texas.

Dennis was born July 28, 1947 in Russell, Kansas to Elmer Sawyer and Opal Bush Sawyer. He served in the United State Marine Corp. He married Donna Beth Sawyer on January 13, 1969. She preceded him in death October 1, 2019.

Dennis loved to read old westerns and watch the old western movies. He liked to go fishing, working crossword puzzels, and bowling. He liked to just sit on the porch and watch the birds and squirrels. Dennis cherished his time with family and loved the holidays.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Opal Sawyer; his wife, Donna Sawyer; and two brothers, Ron Sawyer, and Jay Sawyer.

Survived by his children: Beth and Duane Cortes, and Dennis and Ashlee Sawyer. His Grandchildren: Curry, Alexandria, Raven, Reagan, Ryder, Samantha, Dylan, Devon, Anthony and Andrew. His Great Grandchildren: Aiden, Serenity, Hiro, Jakob, Trinten, and Jaxen. His brothers: Jerry and Janet Sawyer, Ed and Shari Sawyer, Kelly and Melanie Sawyer.
