Don Smyth, 72, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at his Granbury residence.
Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Long Creek Cemetery in Hood County. Visitation with family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Don was born Oct. 2, 1941, in Ponca City, Okla., to Olean Smyth and Eva Evaleen Tucker Smyth. He married Edith Lee, Sept. 19, 1991, in Granbury. He was listed as a member of the Choctaw Tribe on the Indian roll call.
Survivors: Wife, Edith; children, Donna, Lisa, Kimberly, Karen, Jeff; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Jean May.
