Donald Ray Santin Jr., 39, went home to Jesus Thursday, August 6, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Donnie was born September 16, 1975, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and was a registered nurse in oncology at Methodist Medical Center, Plano. He was well known for his love of travel and meeting new friends was one of the many joys of his life. His travels included England, Australia, Iceland, South Korea, China, Canada, Germany, The Netherlands and Czechoslovakia.
He is survived by his partner, Tim Huggins; his mother, Donna Dunning and husband, Wayland, of Granbury; his father, Donald Santin of Benbrook; his grandmother, Myrtle Santin; siblings, Kelly King and husband, Philip, Clayton Dunning and wife, Amanda, Pauline Hutson and husband, Tommy, Jennifer Klenka and husband, Robert, and Natalie Santin: a large extended family who cherished and loved him; a multitude of friends, including his beloved rugby team, The Lost Souls.
