Donna Jean House

Donna Jean House, 70, of Granbury, TX passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 after a long illness. Celebration of Life will be held at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury, TX on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 5:00 PM. Donna was born in Underwood, ND and is the third of eight children born to Orval and Katheleen Peterson. At a young age, her family moved to Garrison, ND where she was raised. She married Roy House on September 18, 1981 and was a devoted spouse for 37 years. Donna was retired, but her favorite job was the interaction with people while delivering pizzas for Papa Johns. She loved and cherished her family dearly. She enjoyed her yearly vacations to the beaches or Las Vegas where she frequented the slot machines. Donna loved a variety of things including lilacs, collecting angels, and watching the Big Bang Theory.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, sister Sharon Peterson, granddaughter Jessica Imel, son-in-law Nathan Alcaraz, and brother-in-law KC Burgum. Donna is survived by her loving husband Roy House, children: John (Rita) Imel of Granbury, TX, Cynthia Alcaraz of Clearwater, KS; Gerald (Lynn) Imel of Cincinnati, OH; and Terry (Sherry) Imel of Wichita, KS. Grandchildren: Frances Hasemann, Joshua Imel, Dustin King, Ashlee Imel, Stephanie Imel, Mckinzi Imel, Terry Imel, Triston Imel, Cheyenne Imel, Emily Imel, Tammie Stoker, James Mashburn and Steven Mashburn. Great-Grandchildren: Kaiden, Keston, Jolee, Skylinn, Blake, Jayla, Camdyn, Kasen, Ashlynn, Austin, Avery, Tesa, Gavin, Gunner, A.J., Kaylee, Abbie, Kyler, Kelsee, Jamie, and Faith. Siblings: Pete (Linda) Peterson, Debbie Burgum, Sally (Dean) Christiansen, Jackie Grantham, Billie Kaeding, and Toni Peterson. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
