GLEN ROSE — Donny Ray Rogers, Sr., 55, of Glen Rose, Texas passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Glen Rose, Texas.
Interment: Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas.
Visitation: 8 a.m. to Service Time at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Glen Rose.
Donny Ray Rogers, Sr. was born on December 28, 1960 in Cleburne, Texas to Elmer and Lula Rogers. Eighteen years ago he married YuVahn Linley. Donny enjoyed riding his Harley and liked to “live free and ride hard”. He fixed cars, helped a lot of people and was a loving father and a great husband.
He is preceded in death by his son, Coy, his father, Elmer Rogers, and his brother, Bubba Rogers.
Survivors: Wife, Gidget Rogers; children, Donny Ray Rogers, Jr., Justin Coy Rogers, Skip Freeman, and Rhonda Wilson; 13 grandchildren, Cody, Corey, Caleb, Little D., Cory, Skyler, Braxton, Dayson, Zaylee, Ethen, Emily, Colt and Owen; mother, Lula Strickland; brothers and sisters, Danny Rogers, Paula Sizemore, Kathy Baker, Richard Johnson and Loretta Bartex.
