Dorella Caroline Havard

Memorial Service:  2:00 p.m., June 11, 2021 at Rejoice Lutheran Church, 532 E. Sandy Lake Rd, Coppell, TX 75019.

Dorella Havard of Fort Worth, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 8, 2021 at the age of seventy-five. She was the daughter of Willie and Herman Fincher born in Van Buren, Arkansas on May 8, 1946.

Dorella was raised in Van Buren and graduated from Van Buren high school. She attended Southern Bible College in Houston after which she married and started her family. Dorella was dedicated to her family and worked diligently raising her children and grandchildren. In her early career she cared for children with special needs and was active in the school system. In her later career, she worked in retail, the banking industry and as a bus monitor for children with special needs. Her true passion was raising her children as well as working with children with special needs. She took great delight in her interactions with children.

Dorella was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Arthur Davenport, William Fincher and grandson, Max Vanderzwart.

Dorella is survived by her siblings Wanda Kemker, Joseph Fincher, Daniel Fincher and wife, Tammy, two daughters, Theresa Vanderzwart, Angela Deacon, and son Gene Havard. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends.
