Dr. James Frederick Caton passed away Wednesday evening October 19th, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 1st, 1938, Jim had recently celebrated his 84th birthday. For more than five decades he served the church, touching countless lives and hearts. He shared his love of life officiating over many unions, sparking the beginning of marriages with his kind, loving, heartfelt words. He loved spending time with loved ones and on the golf course. His voice carried a weight that brought families closer together and was always at the ready with incredible stories he’d gathered along life’s journey. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Susie Caton, his brother, William Caton, and sister, Barbara Graves. He is survived by his son Todd Caton, daughter in law Tonia, and their two sons, Aiden and Liam, daughter Anne Caton and son Andy Arnold, as well as his loving companion Judy Boss.
