“Duge” by many, “Thunder” by his close friends and family. A life long resident of Somervell County, passed away at home on November 18, 2015, from complications of pneumonia.
Early was born on April 22, 1930 in Somervell County Texas to Early A. Teague, Sr. and Minnie Ivy McCoy.
Early was married to Frances Virginia Cannada on March 15, 1958 in Cleburne, Texas. They have four children: James, Lawanda, Roy and Bobby.
The family would like to give thanks to the Glen Rose Medical Center Staff.
A special thanks to Kayla Gill, Lerri Porter, and Melinda Allen, with Mission Hospice. As well as, the many friends who have provided food, support and love.
Early was preceded in death by: his parents, sisters: Opal, Esther, Lalie and Linda Fern; brothers: Harmon and Duane; and sister-in-law Dorothy Cannada of Kemp, Texas.
Early is survived by his wife Frances. Children: James E. and wife Tina Teague of Glen Rose. Lawanda L. and husband Jay Russell of Cleburne. Roy W. and wife Tanya Teague of Glen Rose. Bobby D. and wife Tammy Teague of Glen Rose. Seven grandchildren: Wesley Russell of Cleburne; Tony and wife Ashley Teague; Heather Teague; Jennifer Teague; Joshua and wife Marah Teague; Kevin Teague and fiancé Kim Gerhart, all of Glen Rose, Texas; and Laina and husband Zach O’Quinn of Humble, Texas. Laina blessed Early and Frances with two beautiful great-granddaughters, Lyla and Evyn. Early is survived by one brother, Albert E. (Frisky) Teague of Glen Rose; one sister, Barbara McDonald of Watauga, Texas, and one brother-in-law, Dwayne Cannada of Kemp, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Wesley Russell, Tony Teague, Joshua Teague, Kevin Teague and Zach O’Quinn.
Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters: Ashley Teague, Heather Teague, Laina O’Quinn, Jennifer Teague, Marah Teague and Kim Gerhart.
Viewing will be at Wiley Funeral Home located at 504 Holden Street in Glen Rose, Texas on Saturday, November 21st from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Graveside service located at Nancy Smith Cemetery on Highway 67 West at County Road 1004, Glen Rose, Texas on Saturday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m.
A luncheon will be served at the Community Center at 107 Sheppard Street in Glen Rose, Texas, following the service
