Ed Marrs

GRANBURY — Ed Marrs, 71, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, in Granbury.
Graveside service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Herring Cemetery in Hood County.
Ed was born Dec. 4, 1942, in Granbury, to Daniel Ray Marrs and Thelma Lee Jones Marrs. He married Virginia Gamblin, Dec. 4, 1995, in Henrietta, Texas. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked in pipeline construction. Ed was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clifford Ray Marrs in 1983.
Survivors: Wife, Virginia Marrs of Granbury; daughters, Raymona Chisolm and husband, J.W., of Hurst, Robin Curry and husband, Darren, of Granbury; son, Austin Marrs and fiance’ Randi Benson, of Lipan; daughters, Leeanna Bryant and husband, Daniel, of Granbury, Mikki Jones and husband, Kenneth, of Brownwood, Patricia Morgan of Granbury; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Wimberly of Granbury; Frances Hicks and husband, Michael, of Weatherford; brother, Larry Marrs and wife, Marion, of Weatherford; cousins, nieces, nephews and additional family.
