Elaine Conway went home to be with her Lord on Monday July 12, 2021. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday July 23, 2021, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas.
She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 28, 1946. She was a graduate of Haltom High School and earned a degree in elementary education from North Texas State University.
Elaine served as missionary in Brazil, alongside her husband for many years. She took pride in keeping her family, and home. She was an accomplished cook and seamstress. She loved nothing more than teaching her children and grandchildren all to cook and sew.
Elaine had a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She was an elementary school teacher. She taught in multiple schools, as well as homeschooling her own children for 12 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, Ross H Caldwell and Novell Whitley Caldwell, brother Everett Caldwell, son in law Andrew Griffin, and granddaughter Shelby Cook.
Survived by children Jadalynn Griffin, Jayson Conway, and wife Lilian, Janette Cook and husband Bill, grandchildren TJ Shipp and wife Amber, Maggie Garcia and husband Jeremy, Michael Cook, and wife Makaylyn, Jennifer Conway, Jonathan Cook, Jayson Conway Jr, Maria Virginia Conway, Gracie Cook, Jacob Griffin, and great grandchildren, Allie, Addie, Cheyenne, Lucy, Mona, Remy, sister Janell Caldwell and many extended family and friends.
