Her smile was a significant part of was the first thing you would notice about her. I met Elaine at a Senior dance about a year ago. We instantly connected over us both growing up in a Southern Baptist home, where no one danced. When my own mother passed away at age 70, I decided I always wanted to learn to dance, so I took lessons. Later, I met my sweet husband at one of those Senior dances. We just celebrated 6 months of marriage on 09.10.22 and brought a cake to celebrate. Elaine and Lee were there and they congratulated us and ate cake with us. That is my last and sweetest memory of her that I will cherish. We also spoke about knowing the Lord often, so it is with sweetness that I think of her in Heaven with loved ones who have preceded her.

Elaine, has taken my water classes, line dance class and aerobic classes for years always had a smile and worked out so hard, had fun kidinf her about being so prissy, she would say that’s just the way the lord made me and just laugh. Her smile and kind heart will be missed. But know she is dancing and playing the piano in heaven.
