Elton Elmo Wright, 80, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at God’s Word of Life Church, 5701 Billings Road, Fort Worth 76135, with the Rev. Jesse Ferguson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to God’s Word of Life Church.
Elton was born February 25, 1934, in Boyd. He was a plant superintendent for many years at Trinity Valley Iron and Steel Co. in Fort Worth. He retired from Martin Sprocket and Gear in Dallas. He loved the times spent hunting and fishing with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Elton is survived by his wife of 59 years, Billie Wright; sons, Ricky Wright and wife, Debora, Jackie Wright and wife, Lisa, Larry Wright and wife, Christy; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Nina Henderson and Iva Nell Ray; brother, Robert E. Wright; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
