Erlene Marie Mitchell Blanchette

Erlene Marie Mitchell Blanchette passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2020 in Granbury, Texas. Erlene was born to Aubrey and Patricia Mitchell in Tucson, Arizona on August 14, 1959. Erlene was preceded in death by her father Aubrey Mitchell. She is survived by her husband of 21 years Patrick Blanchette, mother Patricia and stepdad Harry Whisler of Granbury, sister Vicky and husband Larry Evans of Tucson, Arizona, nephew Jason Green, two great nephews and two great nieces, two stepsons, Joshua Blanchette and wife Deserae of Cleburne, Texas, Ivan Blanchette of Cleburne, many grandchildren and two great grandkids.

Erlene was a 25 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 491 in Granbury. She volunteered countless hours there helping serve the Veterans and working the programs that serve our community, state and nation. She had a heart of gold, a very precious soul and a never ending beauty. She had many friends, she touched so many lives. She would always be willing to help you no matter what was going on in her life. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, grandmother and friend.
