Ernest Brookshire, 93, a long time resident of Granbury, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 in Hot Springs, AR.
Graveside service was held Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Granbury Cemetery with Dr. Mark Forrest officiating.
Mr. Brookshire was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury and the Masonic Lodge, and a retired Civil Service employee and Home Builder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Brookshire; brother, Delmon Brookshire and parents, Jesse and Dora Brookshire.
Survivors: son, Phillip W. Brookshire of Granbury; grandsons, Scott, David & Heath Brookshire of Hot Springs, AR and four great-grandchildren, Miranda, Camilla, Nikki and Jesse Brookshire.
