GRANBURY — Eunice Loftin Osburn Hurr, 99, passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Stroud Creek Cemetery near Tolar. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Eunice was born Feb. 15, 1915, in Huckabay, Texas, to Pinkny Lee Price and Dovie Hilburn Price. She married Leo “Ben” Hurr, Oct. 20, 2008, in Waurika, Okla. She lived in Granbury and Hood County most of her life. She was a retired self-employed beautician. She was a member of Granbury Church of Christ. Eunice loved her yard and garden and was an excellent seamstress. She was also known for her Minnie Pearl impersonations. Preceding her in death were her parents and husbands, Morris Loftin and Paul Osburn.
Survivors: Husband, Leo “Ben” Hurr of Granbury; daughters, Sandra Scott and husband, Waylon, of Cresson, Dovie Fletcher and husband, Preston, of Weatherford; step-daughters, Lynda Hurr Genovese, Brynda Hurr; step-son, Randy Hurr; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
