Fran Eagon

Fran Eagon, formerly of Granbury, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Visitation: 12:00 Noon, Monday, November 25, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury followed by Graveside service at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 25, 2019, Holly Hills Memorial Park, Granbury.
Fran was born on October 25, 1922 in Milford, Connecticut to Robert and Molvina Williams. She married Norton Dale Eagon on April 7, 1945 in Milford, Connecticut. During World War II she worked as a hospital CORPs volunteer and later in life, she volunteered at Lake Granbury Medical Center.
Fran loved oil painting, knitting, reading, playing card games and solving crossword puzzles. She was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. She was a breast cancer survivor. She was preceded in death by her husband Norton Dale Eagon, son: Jacque Eagon, daughter-in-law: Pat Eagon, grandson: Jacque Eagon, Jr., and multiple brothers and sisters.
Fran is survived by her son: Dale Sherman Eagon and wife Ingrid, grandchildren: Jennifer Dawn Roberson and husband Jason, Robert V. Eagon, Andrew Chance Eagon, Zoe Olivia Eagon, great-grandchildren: Rachel L. Eagon, Spencer T. Eagon, Gavin Roberson, and Lawson Roberson, great-great-grandchild: Jacque Arthur Eagon, nine nieces and nephews, extended family: Tim and Michele Clouser and their daughter Jamie, and she loved all the women at Holiday Lane Estates who cared for her.
