Frances Bell Kimbell

GLEN ROSE — Frances Bell Kimbell, 90, of Glen Rose, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Glen Rose.

Graveside Service were held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 15, 2015 at Squaw Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose.

Frances was born on May 14, 1924 in Dallas to the late Jessie and Annie Beall Newman. She married Arthur Odell Bruce and he preceded her in death in 1974. On Nov. 2, 1986 she married Finis Kimbell in Glen Rose and he preceded her in death in 2012. Frances owned and operated a dress shop and worked with her husband raising cattle. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Jessie Arthur Newman, Bennie Gail Newman, and Robert James Newman; and sister Anne Marie Eary.

Survivors include a daughter, Robbie Crabtree and husband Scott Crabtree, Jr. of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Sabra Cowan of Glen Rose, Shannon Thompson of Ft. Worth, and Slade Crabtree and wife Maria of Austin; great-grandchildren, Philip Brandt Cowan, and Lexie Hart Thompson; sisters, JoAnn Cockron and husband Allen of Granbury, and Linda Kearby and husband, Jerry of Granbury; sister-in-law, Bobbie Gartrell of Glen Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
