Frances “Fran” Mozjesik, 94, passed away Saturday October 29, 2016 in
Granbury, Texas. Funeral services will be at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic
Church Thursday, Nov. 3, at 11 am. Visitation will be at Martin’s Funeral
home Wednesday, November 2, at 6 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.
Fran was born January 19, 1922 in Bethel, Pennsylvania. She moved to Texas
with her husband, Fritz, raising six children. She worked for 25 years at
St. Joseph Hospital as the admitting supervisor. She enjoyed cooking,
gardening and playing Mah Jongg and was involved in numerous church
activities. Attending WW II reunions with her husband were highlights in her
life. She loved to help take care of others and never expected anything in
return. She was a wonderful angel earning her wings before passing.
The family wishes to express gratitude to Mission Hospice, and Trinity
Mission for their compassionate care. Preceded in death were her husband,
Fritz, daughter Paula Mohr, and son Tony Mozjesik. Surviving children are
Kathryn Lowe, Joe Mozjesik, Vicki Threat, Tina Schwager, and numerous grand
and great- grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hood
County Senior Citizens of Granbury.
