Frank Richard Daniel, 76, of Granbury, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Memorial service: 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 5, 2019, Lakeside Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solaris Hospice, Decatur, Texas or to Cornerstone Christian Academy, Girl’s Athletics.
Frank was born on February 27, 1942 in Ozark, Missouri to Raymond and Dorothy Daniel. He married Janet Fryar on August 30, 1968 and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past August. He was a loving husband, Dad, Papa, and friend, whose favorite job was driving Papa’s school bus.
Frank never met a stranger. He always had a smile on his face and love for jokes and quick wit. Frank loved Rodeo and Team Roping. He liked anything to do with horses and cattle. He was a feed lot manager for 45 years and continued with his own small Cow/Calf operation in retirement. He worked at Lowes in Granbury for 11 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Bobby Lee Daniel, Harold Cletus Daniel, and Jim Bob Ellis, and stepfather: Robert Ellis.
Frank is survived by his wife: Janet Daniel, children: Darren Daniel and wife Stacy, and Ginger Kirk and husband Mark, grandchildren: Jacee Kirk, Kayla Kirk, Leah Kirk, and Wyatt Kirk, siblings: Harley Daniel and wife Linda, Sue Ellis Pratt, Cindy Ellis and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
