Franklin Leroy Eschbach, 87, passed away on Monday; October 26, 2020 at his home in Glen Rose. Frank was born June 9, 1933 in Sisseton, South Dakota to Franklin and Emma Linder Eschbach. I was privileged to have had the love and friendship of Papa Frank. He blessed my life in an extraordinary way. Always holding me fast in prayer with his own children. He and Joan were present at every life changing event over the last several years. In 2014 at a time of health crises, he and Joan thought nothing of traveling from Glen Rose, to bring Pastor Mary Mercer so that they all could come and minister to me at St Paul in Dallas. In January of 2017, they drove near 300 miles one direction to be present at my own Dad's funeral, a man they never met. They again made that turn around trip in November 2017 for the graveside service of my husband. His love and blessings and prayers have never ceased. Always allowing me to call him Papa Frank with almost an appreciation that I would honor him with that title. I did not know until recently, that was his Title Name by his family.
God bless and Comfort you All with his Holy Spirit as you go through this next portion of your life journey learning to leave live each day without Papa Frank here on earth. But you are never without his memory and essence of his spirit with you.
