Gayland Wendell Chandler went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2021, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. He was surrounded by family after courageously battling cancer.
Gayland was born December 29, 1942, in Gorman, Texas to Earl and Grace Chandler. He was a loving husband and family man. He was the owner of Chandler’s Automotive prior to his retirement in 2002, after which, he enjoyed tending to his beautiful garden and spending time with his grandchildren.
Gayland was preceded in death by, his wife of 34 years, Donna Dempsey Chandler; his daughter, Dana Widener Ximenes, and his brother, Dwight Chandler.
He is survived by, his brothers, Norman and Butch Chandler; his children, Kim Adams, Kamie Garcia, Tammy Wright, and Tony Widener. He had fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
