George Elbert White, 76, died January 22, 2016 in Azle.

Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle.

Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery.

He worked for the state of Texas for 41 years before retiring. He was a member of Ash Creek Baptist Church, and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sammie L White; son, Sammy Jay White and wife, Kim; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
