Georgia Bernice Winter, a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother entered her heavenly home on Friday, October 10, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was a very vibrant and happy woman, and loved the Lord with her whole being. Her heart was full of love and it was shown daily through her giving spirit. Known as and dearly called Gramma Georgia by many, she will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15th at Trinity Lutheran Church at 3621 Tulsa Way, Ft. Worth.
Georgia Bernice was born in Spiro, Oklahoma to George and Mary Elizabeth Maier on April 3, 1940. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and former husband Tom Scott.
She is survived by her husband, Klaus Winter; daughter, Frances Anderson; sons, Jack Scott (Susie), and Kirk Scott; sisters, Pearl Maier, Jeri Wausser (Walton), Pat Davis, Sharon Rogers (Jim) and Mary Alice McCallion (Mac); seven granddaughters, and eight great-grandchildren; Klaus’s children: Klaus Winter Jr. (Karla), Rosemarie Warner (James) and Brigitte McGuire; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
