Gladys Walker

GRANBURY — Gladys Christene Lansdell Walker passed away July 20, 2014 in the company of her family and friends at her home in Granbury, Texas.
Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Alleene Cemetery in Alleene, Ark. A memorial luncheon celebrating Gladys’ life will take place at the Alleene Community Center after the graveside service.
Gladys was born at Flat Creek near Winthrop, Arkansas on November 2, 1922. She was one of seven children born to the late Dock Robert Lansdell and Mae Hallmark Lansdell. She was married to Bee W. Walker December 23, 1939 in Alleene, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one grandson and five brothers.
Survivors: Gladys is survived by her husband Bee for seventy-four amazing years. She is survived by one sister, Opal Butler of Acadia, California. She will also be treasured by three daughters; Patricia Beverly and husband Jack of Granbury, Texas, Mary Walker and husband Gary of Sugar Land, Texas, and Joyce Brown and husband Wallace of Conway, Arkansas. Also blessed to remember her are two granddaughters and two grandsons, three great granddaughters and six great grandsons, two great great granddaughters and four great great grandsons.
