Glenda J. Taylor, 77, of Granbury, passed away Friday October 5, 2018. Glenda was born on April 15, 1941 in Brownwood, Texas to Tiny Bell (Paulson) and Raymond “Blackie” Bearden. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Glenda married her high school sweetheart, Billy Taylor, on May 8, 1959 in Plains, Texas. Glenda was known to be a people person, she had a great memory, could remember everyone’s name, never met a stranger, and people were drawn to her. She was very active with the children; she loved snow and water skiing, horseback riding, camping and broom hockey. Glenda drove the school bus for 17 years, she was called “Mrs. T” and she always dressed up for Halloween when she drove the bus and gave out treats. She had a Karate business with Byron as a Karate Instructor. Glenda had a 4th degree black belt and was also, honored in her karate business, and went to Japan. She was preceded in death by her parents: Tiny Bell and Raymond “Blackie” Bearden

Glenda is survived by her loving husband: Billy Taylor; children: Katherine Jowers, Denise Taylor, Byron Taylor and wife Corytha, grandchildren: Billy Jowers, Terri Wood and husband Tim, Krista Wiederkehr and husband Drew, Erika D’Andrea, Amanda Dames and husband Bryan, Jessica Taylor, Tetra Taylor, Logan Taylor; great-grandchildren: Nathan Wood, Drew Wiederkehr, Reilly Wiederkehr, Tony Wiederkehr, Helena D’Andrea; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
