GRANBURY, TEXAS — Glenn Cauble, 68, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at his Pecan Plantation home.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Acton United Methodist Church. Burial: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Stiles Cemetery in Reagan County, Texas. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Please call Wiley Funeral Home or Acton United Methodist Church for details.

Glenn was born Feb. 20, 1946, in San Angelo, Texas, to Douglas and Georgia McKinley Cauble. He married Mary Lowe, Aug. 19, 1972, in Caldwell, Kansas. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics. After 33 years, he retired as a Supervising Land Appraiser for the Texas General Land Office. He also served for four years in the U.S. Air Force. Glenn was an active member of the Brazos Buzzards R/C club and attended the Pecan Plantation Breakfast Club. Glenn faithfully participated in the life of Acton United Methodist Church where he served with the United Methodist Men and many years as head usher. He loved gazing at the stars with his telescope and attending the Annual Texas Star Party.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Georgia Cauble; grandparents, E.G. Cauble, Sr. and Mary Jane Cauble; brother-in-law, Alfred Lowe; nephew, Todd Lowe; uncles and aunts, E.G. Cauble, Jr., Evelyn Cauble, Ross Callihan, Woodrow McKinley, Tom McKinley, June Elliott, and Penn McKinley.
Survivors: Wife of 42 years, Mary Cauble of Granbury, Texas; daughter, Bonnie Cauble Hall and husband, William, and grandson, Elliot Hall of Chicago, Illinois; son, Christopher Cauble and wife, Sarah, of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law, Margaret Freemyer and husband, Paul, of San Antonio, Texas; brothers-in-law, Dave Lowe and wife, Diana, of Caldwell, Kansas, Dick Lowe and wife, Joyce, of Caldwell, Kansas, Paul Lowe and wife, Michelle, of Florence, South Carolina; aunt Mildred Callihan of Big Spring, Texas; uncle, Stanley McKinley of Hooker, Oklahoma; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
