Guy was born on January 12, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Guy and Nancy Woodard. He served in the US Navy. He was a self-employed maintenance specialist. He enjoyed watching football, especially since he was a diehard Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed camping. He was a resident of Irving for the last six years.
Guy was preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Avery Bond.
Guy is survived by his daughters: Erica and J.D. Morrison of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Angela and T.J. Derendal of Keene, NH, mother: Nancy Newman of Irving, grandchildren: Beth Woodard, Alyssa Hollis, Ryan Derendal, and Gary Morrison, sister: Sherrie Howard of Irving, and one niece and one nephew.
