GRANBURY — Harold Eugene “Gene” Alexander, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Granbury, Texas.        Celebration of Life: 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.        In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.        Harold was born on November 17, 1935 in Hutchison, Kansas to Harold Eugene Alexander, Sr. and Gertrude Obenhaus. He married Karen Bobst on September 22, 1957. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was a Field Photographer for Soil Conservation Service before retiring. He was a photographer and enjoyed music, especially jazz. He and his wife, Karen, were residents of Granbury.        He will be missed by his family and friends.        He was preceded in death by his parents.        Survivors: Wife, Karen Alexander of Granbury; sons, Scott Alexander and wife, Debra, of Carrollton and Jeff Alexander and wife, Kim, of Acton; grandchildren, Nicole Alexander, Morgan Alexander, Alex Fry and wife, Nydia, Dylan Alexander, Kristal Alexander, Victoria Alexander and Derrick Alexander; great grandchildren; Emery and Zoey Fry.
