Dear Tammy, Billie, Terri, Trenton and Todd, I am so very sorry for your loss. Harold and I share a Lane family that goes back to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, and it was a wonderful experience talking to him on the phone recently and sharing stories with him. Thank you Tammy for making that possible. He was truly a special person. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I want to say a few more words about Harold in addition to he taught me a lot. He had a large effect on my life. 40 years ago he guided me into the HVAC industry and taught me a simple but life saving practice when working with electricity. Check 3 times. Be sure you’re sure you’re sure. The third check has possibly saved my life about 4 times. That’s pretty hard to beat. I can’t say enough about what he did for me and his influence in my life. Thank you Harold.

I'm so sorry to hear about Harold's passing. I worked with Harold and his wife Billie for years at the bus barn. I remember on time when Harold smelled smoke on his bus and drove it straight to the police departments front door....LOL!!! Rest in peace Sir and peace to your family.
