Helen Bernice Rapp

Helen Bernice Rapp, 81, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Helen was born on January 25, 1935 in Paterson, New Jersey and graduated from Fairlawn High School in 1953. Her mother and father Peter and Mary Milewski were born in Poland and came to this country in 1913 thru Ellis Island, NY.
As she was growing up she spent many summer days at Rockaway Beach, NY with her brothers Ed, Don and Pete deceased. Helen married Robert J. “Bob” Rapp in 1954; they enjoyed riding motorcycles together. Helen was a homemaker, and one of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. She was also a part-time cafeteria worker and bus driver for the Rockaway township schools.
After Bob passed away, she lived in Oswego NY with her daughter for seven years, and then followed her to Granbury TX where she enjoyed the warmer weather. Swimming in her pool, reading books, watching old movies and westerns on TV were some of her favorite pastimes.
Helen is survived by son: Robert J. Rapp Jr. and wife Susan, daughter: Cindy Boyer and husband Jeff, grandchildren: Robbie and wife Lauren, Laura, Claire, Chris, Shaun and wife Melanie, Alex, and great grandchildren: Ryan Rapp and Evelyn Boyer.
