Louise Melville, 63, died on December 4, 2018 in Fort Worth.

Louise was born in Fort Worth on November 18, 1955 to John and Dorthy Coker. Louise lived a life of servitude and sacrificial giving, displaying the heart of Jesus and glorifying her Father in heaven. Louise held her family and the local church close to her heart. Knowing Christ had paid her debt, her life of love and sacrifice was borne out of gratitude to her Savior. “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 4:8.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jewell Dean Chandler and Richard Durrett.
Survivors: She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, David Melville; daughter, Mendi Carlson and husband, Jim; granddaughter, Dylan Rae Carlson; grandsons, Lennox Melville Carlson and Campbell Coker Carlson; brother, David Coker; sisters, Ann Overton, Mary Daniel, and Johnnie Coker; sisters-in-love, Linda Parker and Vicki Oxner; countless nieces, nephews, friends, and her church family at FBC Briar.
