Helen S. Webb, 86, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Azle. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whose lives she had touched throughout her very memorable life.
Service: 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Springtown Church of Christ, 316 Church Street in Springtown. Burial: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Helen was born April 4, 1926 in Minden, Louisiana to John and Eva Gamble Sanders. She grew up in Minden and moved to Fort Worth in the early 1940’s where she was employed by Consolidated Convair working on B-36 aircraft. While working at Consolidated she met Devoe M. “Bo” Webb, they were married March 11, 1944 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and settled in Sansom Park where they raised four sons.
She had a great love for the Word of God and took every opportunity to teach others the gosphel of Christ. She was a true student of the Bible and well respected because of it. Her family all loved their “Ganky” very much, she will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, D.M. “Bo” Webb September 25, 2005 and a son, Robert Devoe Webb on March 7, 2004.
She is survived by: her sons, Guy F. Webb and wife Luann of Fort Worth, John Randall Webb and wife Terry of Granbury, Daniel Royce Webb and wife Cindy of Springtown; daughter-in-law, Susan Webb Martin of Fort Worth; sisters-in-law, Virginia Lewis, Cozette Ridenhour, Wilma Schwoeble and Norma Webb; grandchildren, Aaron, Amy, Quinton, Cody, Holli, Dusty, Cliff, Landon, Zac and Nick; great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Bo, Cadence, Samantha, Will, Grae, Tatum, Wyatt, Gemma, Eli, Layne, Reagan, Gloria, Dillon and Aiden.
