Hoover Pitcock

April 17, 1928 - February 14, 2012

GRANBURY — Hoover Pitcock joined his Maker and so many anxiously awaiting family and friends on Feb. 14, 2012..
Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury.
Hoover was born in Martha OK in 1928. Upon his first marriage, he moved from OK to TX, then on to CO, NE, KS, MO, GA, finally back to TX.
He ended his 43 year career with the Woolworth corporation in 1987 as a Personnel Executive. He and his wife, Dolores, retired to Pecan Plantation in Granbury TX. Over the next several years he was active on the Pecan Board of Directors and the Pecan Ambulance team.
Although an avid golfer, with 2 holes-in-one, Hoover was more suited for an avid participator in TV sports. He was a loyal OU fan. And he loved a casino. For many years he enjoyed putting on a fabulous Christmas light display and having a well-groomed yard that he tended himself. He always chose to
