Hugh “Waymon” Hailey, 69, of Bluff Dale, Texas passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. Service: 2:00 P.M., Tuesday October 2, 2018, Grace Baptist Church.

Waymon was born on July 13, 1949 in Seymour, Texas to Irene (Herring) and Hugh Hailey. He was the oldest of three kids, and very protective of his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Waymon was a free spirit; he loved working on tractors and farming. After 27 years as a mechanic at TXU he retired and ran cotton gins with his dad. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hugh and Irene Hailey; brother-in-law: Bobby Baker

Waymon is survived by his son: “Brian” David Hailey and wife Melanie; granddaughter: Kristin Hailey; great-grandchild: Kamryn Hailey; siblings: Daryl Hailey and wife Ruthie, Ann Baker; niece: Robin and cousin: Chester Boyd Cox.
