Mandi Thomas left a message on December 2, 2018:
I lost grandma months ago and just now am able to look at her obituary. She was one of the greatest person anyone could ever know. She was what everyone should be.
Marshall Sinclair left a message on March 8, 2018:
Me, my wife Stephanie, and my 3 boys Bryant, Ethan, and Cullen went to visit Grandma when she was first put in the nursing home. Me and Stephanie were visiting with her in the first sitting area and our boys were watching TV in the lounge. As we were talking I noticed her look in the glass window at our boys, who were arguing over what to watch, and she said look at those loud kids. Then she looked and me and Stephanie and back at the boys, her eyes just lit up and she smiled and said “oh my, those are my boys! Look at them little angels.” That just goes to tell that it didn’t matter how you acted or what kind of trouble you got in to. If you were family then you were always looked at as an “Angel” by Grandma. She will be missed deeply.
Byron Sinclair left a message on March 8, 2018:
Irene loved and looked after her grandkids while I was at work. She always had a story when I came to pick them up. She loved them and they loved her. There are so many great memories I can’t list them all. My boys were bad about bringing critters in the house to show grandma. Occasionally one would get loose and she would get upset because she had told them over and over NOT to bring them in the house. She grabbed the belt to give Micah a whopping and in one lick on the butt the belt broke. Micah laughed and so did Irene. Mandi and her grandma always had a special relationship As a single parent I could talk to my daughter about the girl things. Irene and Mandi could talk for hours. Irene encouraged the kiddos to be thenselves. Shane would make her drawings and she would put them up for all to see. She had Marshall convinced that all his freckles were angel kisses. I am forever grateful for Irene being the best grandmother a child could ever have
