Jack married Imogene Lindsey in May, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had one son, Randy. Jack was a firefighter for the City of Dallas for 28 years. He and Imogene moved to Glen Rose in 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Wife Imogene Alexander; son Randy Merriman; sisters-in-law Wanda Richardson, Linda Lindsey; brothers-in-law Bob, James, Roy and Eldon Lindsey; special cousins John Huffman and Willie Stallworthy, special niece Kendra Lindsey; special nephew Johnathan Lindsey; nephew Dale Brown; niece Joann Green and a host of friends.
