Jacob Ramsey Tarver, 15, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Services celebrating Jacob’s life will be at 1 P.M., Monday, June 5, 2023, at the Wiley Center Chapel, 410 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. Family members will greet friends from 12:00 until the time of the service, Monday, at the funeral chapel.
Jacob was born on September 19, 2007, in Fort Worth, TX, to Cody Tarver and Jennifer McNabb. A student at Granbury High School, he was ambitious and enjoyed being a “prankster”. Playing video games, going to the park, and watching movies, were some of his favorite past times, but most of all, Jacob loved spending time with his family – particularly his brother and sister. Jacob was a lover, not a fighter. And a true lady’s man.
Jacob is survived by his mother, Jennifer McNabb and stepfather, Robert Cattes; father, Cody Traver; siblings, Anthony McNabb and Lona Tarver; grandparents, Janice Lee, Tony Hale, and Bart McNabb; great-grandmother, Lou Hensley; aunts and uncle, Jena Jackson, Sabrina and Jeremy Trujillo; his cousins, Tristan and Shania Santillan, and Gavin Trujillo; and by his niece, Nevaeh McNabb; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jacob was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Janice Lee; great-grandfather Terrell Lee; and by uncles, Lance McNabb and David Lee and aunt Tamara Day.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, TX.
